"BEFORE THE FACE OF GOD"

Coram Deo. "Before the face of God." This Latin phrase captures a truth our culture has long forgotten-all of life takes place in the presence of God. Indeed, today's young people are immersed in a thoroughly secular culture, devoid of God. But whether we acknowledge His existence or deny it, every moment of life plays out before the gaze of the omnipresent and almighty Creator of the universe.

How then should we live in light of this reality? Under the authority of God and to the glory of God. But to know what that even looks like, the next generation desperately needs the knowledge of God and His created world.

Who is God? How has He made us? What's His design for our lives? What's really real? How do we know what's true? What's the meaning of it all anyway? Every student needs true, good and beautiful answers to these big worldview questions, in order to live properly–Coram Deo–before the face of God.

When our students abandon the culture's empty secularism and instead, renew their minds with God's truth, God's Spirit will transform them (Romans 12:2).
